This month's demo and workshop for our Back To School BBB is "Caning with Miss Tara Red" - drawing on her extensive 15 years experience as a professional switch and domme specialising in corporal punishment and discipline, Tara will be presenting a lunchtime demo and a longer evening workshop, aimed at educating both tops and bottoms plus there is also a chance after to try a cane yourself in the evening under the watchful eye of Tara, a former winner of the Night of The Cane Golden Cane award.
1.30pm Taking some highlights from her longer 3 hour comprehensive caning demo Tara Red presents an informative 20 minute demo (ground floor stage) on how to choose and use a cane effectively for differing effects in both CP and BDSM play. Packed full of useful tips for both tops and bottoms, there's something for everyone whether you love or fear the cane or are completely new to the implement. The demo is included in your ticket price.

Sticking around for the AfterParty? 7.15pm as part of our Education Evolution series included in your AfterParty ticket price Miss Tara Red presents a 1 hour workshop on Caning - packing in the most useful tips and highlights from her last sell out Caning workshop, Tara again will be adding to the afternoon's shortened tips with a more indepth look at caning use and effects, covering a multitude of caning advice, even the most experienced players will learn new tips and for newer players to the scene Tara's wealth of experience will add a whole new collection of tricks to your repertoire! Plus with Tara's 10 years experience as a submissive before she turned professional switch she always includes extremely useful tips for bottoms, so don't think this workshop is just for tops!
**TOPICS COVERED**
* Choosing the right cane for you (whether top or bottom) and looking after those canes
* Consent and negotiation
* Where to cane and positioning of yourself and subject
* How to cane and techniques for differing effects in both CP and BDSM play, bounce, follow through, twilting, drumming etc
* Communication, breathing, rhythm, headspace, roleplay
* How to mark less/more, playing with hot marked skin
* Aftercare. Caning practise.
* Practical advice for bottoms and subs from preparing for play to subtly correcting less competent tops
There will then be a short Q&A followed by a chance to try a cane with Tara instructing, on either a person or a pillow, ideal for both beginners to start correctly, and for those who can already cane to improve their technique.
